My name is Judy Schramm, and I’m the CEO of ProResource.
I have spent more than 15 years helping small businesses with their marketing. I have worked with dozens of startups and small software companies – I love the energy and passion entrepreneurs have.
Over the years I have developed a series of simple marketing systems that are ideal for small businesses – they are easy to delegate or outsource to a virtual assistant or marketing freelancer, they are inexpensive, and they work!
We have marketing formulas for that help business owners nurture leads, get more referrals, launch products or services, and get customers to buy more. We typically use a combination of social media and email marketing, but sometimes we use direct mail (postcards, greeting cards or letters) or gifts.
We teach our formulas to business owners and virtual assistants in a variety of ways – through online courses, webinars, individualized coaching and consulting programs.
Most of the formulas were developed at JMR Consulting. JMR is a virtual company with clients and team members around the world, most of whom I have never met.
I believe this is a great way to run a business. It has allowed me to earn a good living and be available for my boys as they are growing up.
But it has taken a lot of trial and error to make things work well. Being on both sides of outsourcing – being a vendor of outsourced services and being someone who does outsourcing and has to manage a virtual team – has given me a really good education about how to make outsourcing work well (and how many things can go wrong).
